Food.. MMMMMmmmm... I absolutely love food. That's a bad thing for me because I don't look at calories, sugar, fat, sodium and whatever else I should look at. I know I need to change that, but to this day I turn a blind eye on it.
What I can do is find out what foods are good for me and how I can stay in control. First of all is my habit of buying food. Good for you food isn't cheap. Frozen foods is within my budget. Hmmm.. I'm sure there are Frozen foods that I can get that both the kids and I will like and will be good for us. For instance, frozen vegetables and.... I'm sure there is more out there. I just need to find it.
I am still at the beginning of changing my health habits so I am still learning. Yesterday I did well in keeping my portions small. It was hard because I sure was very hungry at the end of the day. Today, I only munched on crackers and drank water and had a free orange soda at work. Shame on me,, but for dinner, chicken nuggets and possibly some velveeta shells. I know, not good for me, But when I go to the grocery store next, hopefully that will change.
I am drinking water, but I do need to increase my intake. Right now I'm drinking a nice hot cup of greentea sweetened with honey. Sounds like that is good for you, doesn't it? Well, I think so.
As I keep blogging, hopefully my habits will make a drastic change. For now, I have dropped my food portions, drinking more water, and thinking on better food choices. I just need to take baby steps on this and use LOTS of my willpower.
